Established in 2020 by Yaya Erin Rivera and Active Culture Family, Escuela del Río Cósmico is located in the Cuyumaca region of the Kumeyaay Lands of Southern California, Río Cósmico is a place where elder and emerging folk medicine practitioners, earth tenders, and other wisdom keepers can exchange multidimensional tools, and support one another on the Green Road to responsible, creative, liberated embodiment.

Our Women’s Folk Medicine Apprenticeship & Green Witch Initiation Journey is the heart and soul of Río Cósmico. Our Year Long program’s unique earth based curriculum is collaboratively delivered by 13 experienced Elder, Auntie, and Sister guides, who come together to share wisdom and skills across the Maiden-Mother-Crone Continuum.
