If you have been present in any of our live circles over the past year, you may have noticed that questions related to the unease of navigating late stage capitalism have been very present in our community q-and-a and discussions.

Late capitalism, late-stage capitalism, or end-stage capitalism is a term first used in print by German economist Werner Sombart. In the late 2010s, the term began to be used increasingly commonly to refer to perceived absurdities, contradictions, crises, injustices, inequality, and exploitation created by modern business development.

Faerie Bread and Butter is a term used by some of our ancestors to describe the edible but often discarded stems of the Hawthorn berry. What does Faerie Bread and Butter have to do with surviving late stage capitalism? Join us in this exploration to find out!

In This Circle, We:

• Share open q and a

• Unpack collective experiences with recent money themed workshops that many members of our extended community have attended this summer

• Look at potential pros and cons of the affiliate relationship model

• Close with an educational and entertaining story from Celtic mythology about keeping our wits about us when negotiating reciprocity.
