Born in the province of Loja, Ecuador, Carmen Vicente (Carmita) is the heir of a spiritual lineage, having been recognized in her community since her birth for her gifts as a “healer.” Carmita is a Medicine Woman, Cultivator of the Word, Carrier of the Sacred Art of Altars, Sun and Spirit Dance Chief, Chief of Vision Quest, Creator of the School of Secrets and Gatherings of the Vagina, Spiritual Leader and Messenger of the Carnation.
